Dang. Just when I thought I had those wee-hours voices figured out and filtered out....
Turns out that SOMETIMES they have something useful to say.
I was scheduled to deliver a mini-keynote speech yesterday--you can read the bulk of it in yesterday's entry (THE ULTIMATE STORY). I had most of it ready to go, but couldn't quite find the right "hook" for my target audience.
I thought of that hook at 3 a.m. that morning.
This morning I managed to sleep in longer--4 a.m., geez Louise--and woke up thinking, "I have to make earrings."
That would normally seem like a silly thought, except one of my best consignment venues--the one that is kicking butt selling my higher end, one-of-a-kind jewelry--is begging me for more earrings.
I've already delivered the more labor-intensive necklaces to them. Earrnings will be a (comparative) snap. I have a full day ahead of me, but surely I could squeeze in making a few pairs of earrings...?
So now that the little voices are starting to make sense, I can foresee many more early, early mornings ahead....
