Service advertisement techniques such as UDDI are not likely to pass the View Source test anytime soon, and will not be easy for most people to imitate. What people can do, pretty easily, is post links. Services that express themselves in terms of links will, therefore, create powerful affordances for use, for imitation, and for discovery.
