I’m enjoying an on-going conversation with another artist who has found my work and my words inspirational. Today she sent me the name of another artist she’s studied under, Mary Merkel-Hess. I googled the name and found this webpage with clips of audio interviews with this artist and another fiber artist, Barbara Nilausen-K.
Their words echoed the words in my own heart, and I felt shivers down my back.
I’m adding a dream to my list of goals for the upcoming years—I want my work to appear in an exhibit with these women.
I would be honored to be included in their company.
