Okay, this is a just-for-fun entry today, because I'll be gone all morning and can't work anyway.

Awhile back, my kids sent me to a pirate site. No, not for downloading movies or tunes, just silly pirate sites. Talk like a pirate, tell pirate jokes, and my favorite, find your pirate name.

By the way, once you get the hang of pirate jokes (and it only takes a minute or two of heavy thinking), they just flow off your tongue. Just think of a word you can stretch out a pirate's "arrrrrrr" into, and think of a good question where that's the answer.

Example: What's a pirate's favorite salad topper? Haaarrrrrrd-boiled eggs. (Of course, this one assumes pirates even EAT salad....)

Who is a pirate's favorite actor?

Peter Sarrrrrrrsgarrrrrd. (I made this one up. Isn't it GREAT?)

Why do pirates LIKE getting older?

So they can have more birthday parrrrrties. (I made that one up, too.)

I guarantee you, if you get a few friends together on this, you will be having fun in minutes. (Silly rum drinks help.)

What's my pirate name? Can't remember. I think it was Peg Leg Meg or Meggie the Red. I'll try it again when I get back tonight and post it here.
